Head Tide Dam

Head Tide Dam Fish Passage Assessment, August 2008, Stantec Consulting (4MB pdf).  This report shows that high water velocity at the dam, during the spring when fish migrate upstream, impairs passage for some fish species such as American shad.  The report also considers whether increasing the size of the existing breaches in the dam will improve fish passage.
