Dock on the riverThe mission of the Sheepscot River Watershed Council is to promote the health of the watershed’s rivers, streams, lakes and ponds, and to ensure long-term stewardship. The Council provides educational opportunities, coordinates volunteer activities, and facilitates projects designed to address specific areas of concern. The Council’s Strategic Plan, completed in 2005, emphasizes several high priority areas of focus, including habitat protection and restoration, water quality monitoring and protection, fisheries management, and educational outreach.

Please join us to share your ideas for potential projects, questions, suggestions, or concerns. We’re here to help preserve the beauty, health, and productivity of the entire watershed.
