In The SpotlightHead Tide Dam, Public Meeting, February 17, 2009There is a public information meeting concerning Head Tide Dam, which will be held on February 17, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Alna Fire Department in Alna, Maine. The reason for this meeting is to share information with the public about a recently completed report which shows that fish passage at the dam is impaired, and to find out what town residents want to do with respect to the dam. The report is titled Head Tide Dam Fish Passage Assessment, August 2008, and is available in the Documents section of this website. For more information please contact
